Schwarzwalder, Jr., M.A. (Senior Lecturer, General Education ) https://www.regent.edu/faculty/m-a-robert-f-schwarzwalder-jr/ Before coming to Regent, Schwarzwalder was senior vice president at the Family Research Council for more than seven years, and previously served as chief of staff to two members of Congress. He was also a communications and media aide to a U.S. senator and senior speechwriter for the Hon. Tommy Thompson, secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. For several years, he was director of Communications at the National Association of Manufacturers. While on Capitol Hill, Schwarzwalder served on the staffs of members of both Senate and House Armed Services Committees and the Senate Committee with oversight of federal healthcare policy. Stephen D. Perry, Ph.D. (Interim Dean ) https://www.regent.edu/faculty/ph-d-stephen-d-perry-2/ Dr. Stephen Perry is the Interim Dean of the Robertson School of Government, and the Director of Graduate Programs in Communication and Professor in the School of Communication and the Arts. He teaches research methods and philosophy & communication courses in the Ph.D. and MA programs in Communication Studies, Strategic Communication, and Journalism. He previously spent 17 years on the faculty at Illinois State University, and he served as a Fulbright Scholar to the University of Mauritius in the Republic of Mauritius. He is a broadcast historian, media effects scholar, and has published studies on media technology. Allman has worked in the broadcast news industry for 37 years with other stops in Washington, DC, Chicago and Cincinnati.
